SHERIDAN, WYOMING – June 29, 2024 – Koelnmesse GmbH, a global leader in the trade fair and exhibition industry, commemorates its 100th anniversary with the inauguration of Confex, a state-of-the-art conference and congress center designed to elevate the standards of business events in Europe. Strategically positioned adjacent to the Cologne Messe/Deutz ICE railway station, the facility accommodates up to 6,200 guests and sets new benchmarks in technological advancement, sustainability, and event adaptability.

Confex, a cornerstone of the comprehensive billion-euro Koelnmesse 3.0 investment program, underscores the organization's unwavering commitment to the future. The expansive complex encompasses a tripartite Confexhall with a capacity of 4,300 attendees, 22 multi-functional conference rooms catering to diverse event formats, and a luminous foyer seamlessly integrated with a 5,600 square meter open-air terrace—a versatile space conducive to receptions,networking, and ancillary events. The building's architectural design harmonizes with the existing exhibition grounds,enabling the expansion of event spaces as required.

Market response to Confex has been overwhelmingly positive, with Koelncongress, the center's marketing subsidiary,reporting a substantial pipeline of bookings and inquiries extending through 2029.
