Chicago – – October 12, 2026 -- LEAD TECH (Zhuhai) Electronic Co., Ltd. will run its continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers and an integrated UV laser marking machine on a live conveyor at Pack Expo International 2026, Oct. 18–21 at McCormick Place. The company claims 70,000 coding machines installed across five continents.

The laser marks products in real time as they travel along the belt, at the pace of a production line. The unit combines laser, controller and power supply in one body, so it can be added to an existing line without extra wiring or external hardware, the company says.
It comes in 5W and 10W configurations and marks date codes, batch codes and traceability data. Target substrates include pharmaceutical packaging, food flexible film, PVC tubing and electronic components. It needs no consumables or ink.

The i9 Series will run in standard, micro-character and ultra-high-speed configurations. They handle date and batch coding plus barcode and QR code printing on PET plastic, glass, metal cans, flexible film and cable. Application engineers will be on the floor all four days for live substrate testing and line-speed consultations.
Installed base spans nearly 3,000 manufacturers, including Nestlé and Huawei
LEAD TECH attributes its 70,000 installed machines to close to 3,000 manufacturers over fifteen years. Named customers include Nestlé, Huawei, Dole and Kweichow Moutai Group.
The company also cites a 2020 order of 86 batch coding machines for a major export facility in the Philippines. According to LEAD TECH, none has needed a service call in the five years since. It says the same engineering team built the UV laser system on show in Chicago.
General Manager Mr. Cauf said the company wants buyers to see the machine working at their line speed: "we want to show them, not tell them."
