High Point, N.C. – October 16, 2026 -- LG Electronics USA is bringing three LG SIGNATURE laundry and garment-care products into Broad Hall at High Point Market (October 17–26, 2026) through a partnership with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), targeting interior designers, architects and specifiers.
The activation, titled "Designer Closet and Hidden Laundry," is designed in collaboration with Barbour Spangle Design. It positions garment care inside custom dressing rooms, luxury closets and residential wellness spaces rather than in a conventional laundry room. LG cites OpenBrand MarketShare data (AHAM Core 6, 2024-2026) in describing itself as the number one appliance brand in the US.
Three LG SIGNATURE products anchor the Broad Hall display
The showcase features the following models:
- Front Load Washer & Dryer pair (WM9700HPA & DLGX9701P): large-capacity units with flush-fitting aesthetics, intelligent fabric care sensors and quiet operation aimed at main-floor dressing suites.
- SideKickTM Pedestal Washer (WD405CP): a mini-washer that sits beneath the main washer for small, delicate or custom garments needing separate, immediate care.
- Styler® Steam Clothing Care System (SC5GQR8GA): uses TrueSteam® technology to refresh and deodorize tailored suits and delicate fabrics between professional cleanings.
All three connect through the LG ThinQ® smart home platform. Homeowners can monitor cycles, download customized care programs and operate the appliances remotely. The features require a Wi-Fi connection and the LG ThinQ app, and availability varies by model.
LG targets specifiers directly through NKBA partnership
Kevin Jeong, Executive Vice President and Head of Home Appliance Solutions at LG, said the NKBA partnership gives the company direct access to designers, architects and specifiers shaping upscale residential projects.
Broad Hall is a central hub for tailored product displays and immersive show house experiences. Its zones are curated to show how high-performance appliances sit alongside high-end interior finishes, including cabinetry and furnishings.
Daily programming runs throughout the market
LG will take part in Broad Hall programming for the duration of High Point Market, including daily media panels, activations and curated designer tours.
