Liberty Systems Lifts Nitrogen Generator Bays From 3 to 7

OCONOMOWOC – October 29, 2026 -- Liberty Systems, a maker of on-site nitrogen generation and compressed air systems, is more than doubling its production capacity from three bays to seven by moving its headquarters and production from Waukesha, Wis., to a 100,000-square-foot facility in Oconomowoc.

The new site is three times the footprint of the company's current corporate office and production space. The company expects to complete the move by the end of October 2026.

Liberty Systems adds up to nine jobs to its 80-person workforce

The hiring plan includes three production hires and four to six assemblers and technicians. Liberty Systems currently employs 80 people.

The facility sits on 5.48 acres and includes 23,500 square feet of office space and eight loading docks.

Dedicated Training Center targets customers, OEM partners and technicians

The on-site Training Center will give customers, OEM partners and Liberty's own service technicians hands-on time with equipment before it reaches the field. Co-Founder Joe Firnrohr said service "earns the next order," and that the added assemblers and technicians are meant to support every system the company delivers.

Demand for on-site gas generation drives the expansion

Manufacturers, food packagers and brewers are increasingly producing industrial gas on-site instead of relying on delivered cylinders and bulk tanks. Liberty Systems has delivered more than 5,000 systems that let customers make nitrogen from compressed air.

President Steve Albrecht said the larger footprint and added capacity are intended to shorten lead times and add engineering and assembly resources, in preparation for anticipated demand.

The company's systems serve laser cutting, food packaging, heat treating, brewing, 3D printing, and oil and gas applications across North America.
