LifeLogics Names Former UNOS CTO Ankit Mathur as CEO

Rossville, Md. – October 28, 2026 -- LifeLogics, a nonprofit technology company serving the organ and tissue donation and transplantation community, has appointed Ankit Mathur as Chief Executive Officer. Mathur, who has more than two decades of experience in technology, healthcare and organizational leadership, most recently served as Chief Technology Officer of United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS).

Mathur's mandate centers on platform modernization and interoperability

Mathur will lead LifeLogics through what the company calls its next phase of growth and modernization. His priorities are strengthening partnerships with organ procurement organizations (OPOs), advancing the company's technology platforms, improving customer experience and expanding interoperability across the donation ecosystem.

LifeLogics was founded in 2006 with the support of a consortium of OPOs. Its portfolio includes TrueNorth, a donor management platform for OPOs, and Copernicus, an interoperability platform linking hospital electronic medical record systems with OPOs. It also provides donor registry technology for state and national donation programs.

Board chair cites entrepreneurial and sector experience as hiring rationale

Mathew Moss, Chair of the LifeLogics Board of Directors, said Mathur combines healthcare technology experience, entrepreneurial leadership and a deep understanding of the donation and transplantation community. Moss said that as LifeLogics enters its third decade, the board sees an opportunity to build on its foundation while strengthening commitments to innovation, customer partnerships and operational excellence.

Mathur said LifeLogics must go beyond building technology to act as a trusted partner that makes customers' work easier. He said he aims to build on the company's foundation while "raising the bar for what our customers should expect from their technology partner."

New CEO brings UNOS, White House and founder credentials

At UNOS, Mathur helped guide technology strategy and modernization initiatives supporting the national organ donation and transplantation system. He was previously Chief Delivery Officer for the U.S. Digital Service at the White House. Earlier, he founded Roundtrip, a healthcare technology company that ensures patients have reliable access to transportation.

Mathur is a three-time graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. He serves on the boards of the Richmond Technology Council and VCU's School of Business Foundation.
