FlowLogiQ L11 converts disorganized bulk flows of cartons and bags into a single-file, gapped line ready for induction to automated sorters. The system processes items up to 70 pounds and 30 inches long, and in test applications with an average parcel length of 27 inches and a 12-inch product gap, it delivered the 1.5% error rate at 15,000 packages per hour. LogistiQ uses three drive motors per 10 feet of belt, compared with one per 10 feet in alternative systems, giving operators finer speed control during singulating and gapping and simplifying restarts after jams or maintenance.

The triple-motor configuration allows the system to start and stop while carrying up to 100 pounds per foot of belt, eliminating the need to clear packages before restarting. Servo-driven gappers work alongside the granular drive zones to optimize speed profiles for different materials and required flow rates as packages approach the sorter.

A patent-pending bag shelf lets FlowLogiQ L11 handle large reusable bags packed with small orders bound for the same destination -- a packaging format increasingly used in distribution centers to raise processing efficiency. After initial alignment, the shelf adds clearance to prevent pinching and jams, keeping bag centers of gravity on the narrow belts for consistent single-file flow.
Poly-V drive belt cuts noise by up to 10 decibels versus comparable systems
The patented Poly-V drive belt reduces operating noise by 8-10 decibels compared with similar solutions, according to LogistiQ. Because the belt-driven design does not rely on compressed air to drive rollers, operators can avoid costly noise-mitigation measures such as physical enclosures, and the company said the design supports a more worker-friendly warehouse environment. FlowLogiQ L11 also includes pull-out maintenance drawers, removing the need for technicians to access components from underneath the unit.
