ADDISON, Texas – November 04, 2026 -- Lone Star Analysis has launched Debrief IQ, a generative AI instructional assistant that can eliminate as much as 35 minutes of post-event effort per training event for military flight instructors.
A major military flight training command has already selected the solution for implementation, according to the company. The source does not name the command or give a contract value or deployment timeline.
Debrief IQ targets the instructor bottleneck in military pilot training
Lone Star Analysis, which provides predictive and prescriptive analytics and generative AI solutions, designed the tool to address limited instructor capacity. Aircraft, simulators and other training systems generate large volumes of data, and turning that data into usable insight requires significant manual work from instructors.
Debrief IQ is built on the company's patented Evolved AI technology. It converts training event data into actionable insight, helping instructors reconstruct events quickly, identify performance patterns, prepare debriefs and track trends across the enterprise.
CEO Roemerman frames the product as a response to flat instructor headcount
Steve Roemerman, CEO of Lone Star Analysis, said pilot training organizations are being asked to produce more pilots without more instructors. He said the assistant takes over time-consuming data parsing and leaves more time for instruction.
CTO Eric Haney, Ph.D., said Evolved AI moves beyond simple automation by bringing intelligence directly into the training workflow. It connects complex training data with the instructor's need for timely insight, he said.
Debrief IQ wins Platinum Honors at 2026 Military & Aerospace Electronics Innovators Awards
The solution received Platinum Honors in the 2026 Military & Aerospace Electronics Innovators Awards, which recognized its application of AI to military pilot training.
Debrief IQ is part of Lone Star's growing IQ Series of solutions developed with Evolved AI.
