Dallas – November 06, 2026 -- Luxe Trading USA LLC has launched a mine-to-market supply assurance program that sells Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) copper cathode and cobalt hydroxide to global OEMs directly from the title holder, bypassing multi-tiered broker chains.
The Dallas-based company targets procurement teams facing paper-only offers and unverified volumes that fail bank compliance reviews. It holds title to the material under exclusive commercialization agreements, so buyers deal with the asset owner rather than an intermediary. Its executive leadership has worked on copper cathode and cobalt hydroxide supply for more than 16 years.
U.S. management inspects every metric ton before payment
Managing Director Dexter Markes, Sr. said, "We are not a trading desk or a broker network." He said the U.S. team oversees DRC field teams that physically inspect and secure each metric ton before payment. The company's U.S. oversight team manages field operations in Likasi and Kolwezi, linking primary production to automotive OEMs and industrial buyers.
Four safeguards address ESG and bank compliance demands
Luxe Trading lists four operational safeguards:
- Traceability: forensic batch tagging and chain-of-custody serialization from the mine gate to international ports.
- Trade finance: purchasing from a U.S. entity through domestic U.S. banking infrastructure, which streamlines DRC origin-risk assessments.
- Provenance: adherence to OECD Due Diligence Guidance and the Swiss Ordinance on Conflict Minerals, with audit trails.
- Performance: contract fulfillment that can be backed by performance and surety bonds on request, to protect high-volume manufacturing timelines.
The company did not disclose volumes, pricing or contract values for the program.
