Washington – September 08, 2026 -- Lyntris Inc. (NYSE: LYNX) has completed Critical Design Review for the tri-band antenna system built for Kongsberg Satellite Services' (KSAT) two-satellite Hyperion mission, clearing a key hurdle before hardware integration, qualification, and flight.

Hyperion serves as the pathfinder for KSAT's HYPER relay network

The program underpins HYPER, KSAT's next-generation hybrid RF and optical relay architecture designed to extend global connectivity into orbit. The network will route spacecraft mission data through relay satellites when direct ground-station access is unavailable, cutting latency and improving access to time-sensitive data.

Tri-band design compresses three RF bands into one space-qualified unit

Engineering a single antenna to deliver tri-band performance requires isolating each frequency band, filtering unwanted signals, and minimizing signal loss without degrading performance across the other bands. Validating the finished hardware demands test facilities capable of characterizing all three bands simultaneously, a capability few organizations maintain in-house.

Lyntris consolidates RF engineering, manufacturing, and multi-band testing under one roof

The company says its combined RF engineering, manufacturing, system integration, and testing capabilities, paired with proprietary design and process IP, enabled the tri-band antenna to progress from requirements to flight hardware on schedule.
