Mayfair Gold Confirms Fenn-Gib Infrastructure Sites, Advances South Block Targets

Toronto – September 11, 2026 -- Mayfair Gold Corp. (TSXV: MFG) (NYSE American: MINE) has completed a 23-hole, 6,184-metre condemnation drilling program confirming that its planned infrastructure sites at the Fenn-Gib Project in Timmins, Ontario require no layout changes, the company said.

Condemnation drilling validates infrastructure plan from 2026 Pre-Feasibility Study

The program, which included two redrills, tested locations for key project infrastructure identified in the 2026 Pre-Feasibility Study and confirmed the tested sites remain suitable, removing a potential design risk ahead of permitting.

South Block targets move toward drill-ready status for early 2027

Mayfair mapped more than 95% of known outcrops across the North and South blocks and collected 127 grab samples for gold assay and multi-element geochemical analysis during the 2026 summer program. Vice President of Exploration Adree DeLazzer said the fieldwork strengthened geological understanding of both blocks and advanced priority South Block targets toward planned drilling in early 2027.

3D geochemical model expands with over 900 ICP-MS assays

The company is building an integrated 3D geological and geochemical model of the Fenn-Gib deposit, incorporating more than 900 inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry assays to date. Acid-based accounting assays are also being folded into environmental baseline studies, while the model is designed to support geo-metallurgy work and property-wide pathfinder-element vectoring.

Grade control results from June prompt consideration of infill drilling

Mayfair is evaluating options, including targeted infill drilling, to build on favorable results from a grade control program reported June 18, 2026. The company is finalizing separate fall and winter exploration programs.

Fenn-Gib carries a 4.3 million ounce indicated resource and near-surface reserve

The Fenn-Gib deposit hosts a 4.3 million ounce indicated mineral resource (181.3 million tonnes at 0.74 g/t gold), with the PFS targeting a higher-grade 1 million ounce probable reserve (25.1 million tonnes at 1.29 g/t) sitting near-surface. The PFS outlines initial development capital of C$450 million, a base-case payback period of 2.7 years, and cumulative free cash flow of US$896 million over the first six years of production at a US$3,100/oz gold price. Mayfair targets construction start in 2028 and initial production in 2030.

Drill core analysis for the program was conducted by Swastika Laboratories Ltd., an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited independent lab, with surface drilling carried out by Black Diamond Drilling and Wiijiiwaagan Drilling Limited Partnerships.
