San Francisco – October 14, 2026 -- Mesh, a crypto payments network, has launched Link Chat, an AI-powered feature in Mesh Link that lets users start financial actions with a natural-language request such as "Deposit 50 USDC into my account." The capability is live and rolling out to partners.
Mesh plans to extend Link Chat across its product stack, including payments and additional transaction types.
Forrester data shows 31% of consumers use conversational AI for finance questions
Nearly one in three consumers (31%) across the United States, United Kingdom and Canada regularly use conversational AI to ask personal-finance questions and compare financial products, according to Forrester. Nearly a quarter (24%) of those users do so through tools outside their bank's app.
Completing a financial action still requires the right accounts, assets and payment rails to work together behind the scenes, the company said.
Link Chat routes user requests through Mesh's existing orchestration layer
Link Chat pairs a conversational interface with Mesh's connectivity and orchestration infrastructure. A user states the intended action and reviews and confirms the transaction details. Mesh then orchestrates the connection between an eligible funding source and the destination platform.
Mesh can surface eligible accounts and funding sources, including accounts the user has already connected to a platform and compatible accounts available to connect. Users review and approve transaction details before funds move.
Mesh Chief Technology Officer Arjun Mukherjee said an interface in financial services is only as useful as the infrastructure behind it, and that Link Chat brings the user experience closer to the financial rails.

Mesh links wallets, exchanges and financial platforms through one integration, so platforms avoid building and maintaining individual connections across a fragmented ecosystem. Platforms embed this connectivity through Mesh Link, the interface where their users connect accounts and move funds. Supported actions include funding an account and completing a payment.
