Air Spring Drive System Plus enables cordless tools to match pneumatic driving force
The nailers use Air Spring Drive System Plus, which stores and releases compressed air within the tool to replicate pneumatic driving force and speed in a fully cordless platform. Bernd Fleischmann, Chief Technology Officer for KOKI Group, said the system pairs proven air spring architecture with a new Enhanced Lift Mechanism that doubles shot frequency over the previous generation, solving both driving power and firing speed simultaneously.
Batteries deliver up to 1,170 nails per charge on 18V MultiVolt packs
Cordless Pneumatic Nailers run on 18V Metabo HPT MultiVolt 10.0Ah T-PWR Tabless batteries, rated for up to 1,170 nails per charge. Select models accept interchangeable magazines, and on-site maintenance can be completed in as little as 10 minutes rather than requiring service center turnaround.
Five-model lineup targets framing, metal connector and duplex forming work
The launch lineup includes an 18V 21° framing nailer with plastic strip round head (NR1890DRBQRY), an 18V 30° framing nailer with paper strip clipped head (NR1890DCBQRY), an 18V 15° coil framing nailer (NV1890DAQRY), an 18V metal connector nailer (NR1865DKAQRY) and an 18V duplex forming nailer (NR1875DDAQRY).
