MINISFORUM Debuts 131 TOPS Edge AI Systems at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- MINISFORUM has launched two edge AI computing systems built on AMD's Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 processor, delivering up to 131 TOPS of AI compute performance for enterprise and developer workloads. The AI Mini Workstation MS-S1 MAX-P495 and the AI Agent NAS N5 MAX-P495 were unveiled at IFA Berlin, where they are on display in Hall 6.2-104 through September 8.

New systems pack 192GB memory and 160GB of graphics memory for large-model workloads

Both devices run on the Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 chip and support up to 192GB of memory at 8533 MT/s, with as much as 160GB allocatable as graphics memory. MINISFORUM positions the specification as sufficient to run larger AI models and more complex inference workloads directly on local hardware rather than in the cloud.

N5 MAX-P495 pairs AI compute with up to 200TB of local storage

The AI Agent NAS N5 MAX-P495 is built to serve as a centralized backend for data, models and long-running AI workloads, combining AI processing with up to 200TB of local storage capacity. MINISFORUM designed the unit to keep RAG knowledge bases, embeddings, databases and AI agents such as OpenClaw and Hermes running privately on-site, avoiding continuous cloud dependency for persistent AI operations.

MS-S1 MAX-P495 targets low-latency inference in a compact workstation form factor

The AI Mini Workstation MS-S1 MAX-P495 is engineered for real-time AI applications, including AI agents, computer vision and generative AI tasks that require low-latency local inference. MINISFORUM describes the unit as a scalable AI compute frontend, offering extensive connectivity and expansion options for engineering and AI development workflows.

The two units form a paired frontend-backend architecture for edge AI deployment

MINISFORUM frames the MS-S1 MAX-P495 and N5 MAX-P495 as a combined system: the workstation handles frontend compute and real-time inference, while the NAS unit integrates storage, data and AI knowledge management at the backend. The company markets this pairing as a foundation for scalable local AI deployment without reliance on external cloud infrastructure.

Products go on sale through regional online storefronts in the US, EU, UK and France

MINISFORUM has opened sales channels for the MS-S1 MAX-P495 across the United States, European Union, United Kingdom and France. The launch extends the company's edge AI portfolio, which already spans AI Mini PCs, AI Mini Workstations and AtomMan gaming systems distributed to a global user base.
