Munich Pharmacy Roadshow Draws 3,000 Ahead of German Apothekertag

Munich – September 15, 2026 -- Up to 3,000 registered pharmacists, pharmacy technicians (PTA) and pharmacy clerks (PKA) are set to attend the APOTHEKENTOUR in Munich on September 12-13, the event's second stop after Berlin drew more than 2,500 attendees and a 15% year-on-year increase in visitors.

Munich stop packs 170 talks and pharma-partner cases into one weekend

The Munich edition, powered by APOTHEKE ADHOC and PTA IN LOVE, will feature more than 170 lectures, several live talks and new product showcases connecting attendees directly with pharmaceutical industry partners. The event is scheduled deliberately the weekend before the Deutscher Apothekertag, where Health Minister Carsten Linnemann (CDU) is expected to address the sector's political future.

Wort & Bild Verlag CEO to discuss #stopmedfakes initiative at Munich event

Jan Wagner, Geschäftsführer of Wort & Bild Verlag, will give a talk marking the anniversary of Apotheken Umschau, outlining a forward-looking view on pharmacy communication and detailing the recently launched #stopmedfakes initiative. TV presenter Wigald Boning will also appear at the Eisbachstudios in a session powered by DR. KADE.

ELPATO CEO frames event as industry-wide showcase for on-site pharmacies

Tour to add Stuttgart and Karlsruhe stops, targeting 30,000 total visitors in 2026

Following Munich, the APOTHEKENTOUR continues to Stuttgart on October 17-18 and Karlsruhe on October 31-November 1. Across twelve German locations in 2026, organizers expect roughly 30,000 visitors by year-end. The tour will also make its fourth annual stop in Vienna in November, where around 3,000 pharmacists and PKA are anticipated.

Industry partners confirmed for the 2026 German tour include Aboca, Alfasigma, Bausch + Lomb, BD Rowa, Bionorica, CGM Lauer, Dr. Willmar Schwabe, Galderma, Hartmann, InfectoPharm, Klosterfrau, Reckitt, Sandoz, STADA and Zentiva, among others. Registration for pharmacists, PTA and PKA from on-site pharmacies remains free, with capacity limited per location.
