MVV Enamic and Amperfied Deliver 56 EV Charging Points for MLP’s Wiesloch Headquarters

SHERIDAN, WYOMING - November 10, 2025 - German energy solutions provider MVV Enamic GmbH and e-mobility specialist Amperfied GmbH have jointly completed a large-scale charging infrastructure project for MLP SE, installing 56 new charge points at the financial services group's Wiesloch headquarters. The project advances MLP's sustainability strategy while showcasing a replicable model for corporate e-mobility integration in Germany's energy transition.

Full-Service Partnership Enables Scalable Charging Infrastructure

MVV Enamic, the B2B subsidiary of MVV Energie AG, managed the full scope of the project-from design and planning to implementation and operation-ensuring a seamless and future-proof charging setup. Amperfied, a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG), provided the hardware and technical backbone, delivering a customized system designed specifically for workplace and fleet charging.

With the new infrastructure in place, MLP employees can charge their electric and hybrid vehicles at preferential rates on-site. "Promoting more sustainable mobility for commuting is an important part of our sustainability concept," said Uwe Schroeder-Wildberg, CEO of MLP SE. "The installation of additional charge points and the gradual conversion of our vehicle fleet to an almost fully electric fleet are important milestones in further improving our carbon footprint."

Tailored E-Mobility Solutions Replace One-Size-Fits-All Models

Amperfied's role reflects its evolution into a system provider of tailored e-mobility concepts for corporate and municipal clients. The company now offers a broad portfolio combining cloud-based back-end management, integrated billing systems, and maintenance services-enabling end-to-end fleet charging operations.

"In the field of electromobility, off-the-shelf solutions are no longer sufficient," said Jürgen Otto, CEO of HEIDELBERG. "We work in partnership with our customers to define how we can create the greatest added value for them in each individual case, based on their specific needs - and this project in our immediate neighborhood is no exception."

Driving the Energy Transition Through Corporate Collaboration

For MVV Enamic, the Wiesloch deployment marks another milestone in expanding sustainable mobility infrastructure for business customers. "For us as a full-service provider in the field of charging infrastructure - from project planning and delivery to operation - this project marks another milestone in supporting business customers with mobility and sustainability projects," said Dr. Johannes Werhahn, Managing Director of MVV Enamic. "Together with Amperfied, we are once again demonstrating how we are actively shaping the energy transition - while focusing on individual customer needs."

MVV Energie AG, one of Germany's leading energy companies with annual revenues exceeding €7.2 billion, continues to invest in renewable generation, digital energy services, and low-carbon mobility. Under its "Mannheim Model," the group aims to become #climatepositive by 2035, with targets certified by the international Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Industry Context: Growing Demand for Workplace Charging

The collaboration between MVV Enamic, Amperfied, and MLP highlights the accelerating convergence of energy, mobility, and corporate sustainability strategies. As companies across Europe electrify their fleets and reduce commuting emissions, integrated charging infrastructure has become a key differentiator in ESG performance and employee engagement.

Corporate campuses are increasingly adopting managed charging systems that combine operational efficiency with energy optimization-aligning with grid decarbonization efforts and national mobility goals. The MLP project underscores how strategic partnerships between energy utilities and technology providers can deliver scalable, measurable climate impact.

A Blueprint for Corporate E-Mobility Implementation

By combining MVV's energy service expertise with Amperfied's e-mobility technology and MLP's corporate commitment, the Wiesloch project serves as a model for future public-private sustainability collaborations. The initiative demonstrates how localized charging solutions can contribute to Germany's broader electrification objectives while providing tangible business value through lower fleet emissions and enhanced energy efficiency.
