Groenlo – October 15, 2026 -- Nedap grew third-quarter 2026 revenue by 7% year on year, with its four key markets up 9% and year-to-date key-market growth at 12%. Recurring revenue rose 17% in the first nine months of 2026 and made up 42% of total revenue for the period.
Recurring revenue grew faster than total revenue and increased in all four key markets in the quarter. CEO Rob Schuurman said the company remains on track with its Step Up! strategy.
Livestock revenue falls on delivery timing and subscription shift
Livestock revenue declined against a strong third quarter of 2025. Nedap attributes the drop mainly to delivery timing and a further move toward subscription-based offerings. Recurring revenue in the unit rose as adoption of as-a-service offerings grew, and the installed base expanded across multiple regions.
Healthcare and Retail drive the quarter's growth
Healthcare revenue increased, and more care organizations adopted Nedap's treatment records in disability care and elderly care.
Retail revenue also rose. Nedap added customers, including first-time RFID adopters and retailers replacing existing providers. Use cases widened beyond inventory counting into automated replenishment, on-shelf availability and overhead inventory visibility. The RFID-enabled self-checkout portfolio saw its first large-scale deployments.
The previously announced partnership with VF Corporation covers a planned rollout in more than 1,500 stores across its brand portfolio. The initiative also extends to distribution centers and vendor partners to support end-to-end inventory visibility.
Security revenue holds steady as Nedap Pace goes live at Bayer campus
Security revenue remained broadly stable. Nedap Pace went live at the first building on the Bayer CropScience Campus in Monheim, part of Bayer's AllAccess program to set a common standard for physical access management across sites, countries and access control systems.
Nedap also introduced Nedap Way, a new reader line for secure building access. It supports card-based and mobile access and works with new and existing access control systems, so organizations can modernize step by step.
Middle East instability delays security rollouts
Nedap expects revenue growth in the second half of 2026 compared with the second half of 2025. Geopolitical instability in the Middle East continues to delay customer rollouts of its security solutions in the region. The company will keep investing in its technology platform, AI and cybersecurity.
