President and Chief Executive Officer Howard Robin will lead a conference call at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (2:00 p.m. Pacific Time) to review the quarter.
Lead candidate REZPEG is being evaluated in three indications
Nektar describes itself as a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the underlying immunological dysfunction in autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases. Its lead candidate, rezpegaldesleukin (REZPEG, or NKTR-358), is a first-in-class regulatory T cell stimulator being evaluated in atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata and Type 1 diabetes mellitus.
The preclinical pipeline includes two bivalent tumor necrosis factor receptor type II (TNFR2) programs, an antibody and a bispecific, designated NKTR-0165 and NKTR-0166. It also includes NKTR-422, a modified hematopoietic colony stimulating factor (CSF) protein.
