NextPlat Buys Pensacola Pharmacy for $1.49M, Adds $5.6M Revenue

Hallandale Beach, Fla. – October 06, 2026 -- NextPlat Corp (NASDAQ: NXPL) has completed its acquisition of an independent pharmacy in a rural community near Pensacola, Florida, for total cash consideration of $1,485,439.

Acquired pharmacy generated $5.6 million in sales last year

The Pharmacy posted approximately $5.6 million in sales for the year ended December 31, 2025. It was profitable, maintained positive working capital, and operated with a debt-free balance sheet at the time of purchase.

Deal extends PharmcoRx network into underserved Florida panhandle

The acquisition gives NextPlat's PharmcoRx healthcare segment entry into the Pensacola market and the broader panhandle region, an area the company says currently lacks access to higher-margin contracted pharmacy services. PharmcoRx now operates five pharmacies across northern, central, and southern Florida, offering prescription fulfillment, medication management, same-day delivery, and provider coordination.

CEO points to 340B and long-term care contracts as margin driver

David Phipps, CEO of NextPlat, said the company's teams are integrating the new location into the PharmcoRx network and see a clear path to improving its profitability by adding contracted services for 340B providers, long-term care facilities, and senior living communities. He added that NextPlat is actively evaluating further acquisitions of established, profitable community pharmacy operators to diversify beyond traditional mass-market retail pharmacy.

Transaction expected to contribute to fourth-quarter results

NextPlat expects the newly acquired pharmacy to support growth and profitability within the PharmcoRx segment through the fourth quarter. Additional transaction details will be disclosed in a Current Report on Form 8-K to be filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
