Nextworld Launches Three AI Tools for Oil and Gas Operators' ERPs

DENVER – October 27, 2026 -- Nextworld has launched three products for upstream and midstream oil, gas and energy companies that move field tickets, supplier compliance and lease tracking out of spreadsheets and inboxes and into the ERPs operators already run. The products are nextField, nextVendor and nextLand, and all three are available now.

They are built to work alongside ERPs including SAP S/4HANA, JD Edwards, IFS, Quorum and Enertia. Nextworld says operators can start with a single workflow and add more over time, with no rip-and-replace.

nextField matches field tickets to wells and AFEs before they post

The tool reads tickets arriving as paper photos, emailed PDFs, portal exports and dictated notes. It matches each ticket to the correct well and AFE, proposes a cost code based on how similar tickets were coded, and checks the rate against the supplier's price book or MSA. Tickets post to the ERP with the original image attached, and human review applies wherever the operator requires it. Finance sees AFE spend as tickets post rather than at period end.

nextVendor emails suppliers at 90 days, 30 days and expiration

The product reads certificates of insurance, safety certifications and training records as they arrive. It scores each supplier against the operator's coverage rules. Non-compliant suppliers route to a person for review, and the flag clears once a corrected document passes. Nextworld notes that when a supplier's insurance lapses while its crew is on site, the risk lands on the operator.

nextLand puts shut-in royalties and minimum royalties on the calendar

A land administrator uploads a lease, and an AI agent extracts terms and clauses with financial or legal impact, including shut-in royalties, minimum royalties, continuous operations and cessation of production. Provisions tied to the lease's own dates go on the calendar when the lease goes active. Others start when a well's status changes, and a single shut-in can start more than one clock. Each obligation tracks its own status, and amendments keep a running history so obligations calculate against the terms in effect at the time. A dashboard, map and calendar show every lease, well and deadline in one place.

Shared platform keeps humans in control of AI agents

All three run on the Nextworld platform, which combines applications, automations, integrations and AI agents. Every agent shows each step and the records it touched, and agents never hold more permissions than the person they act for. A person can review flagged items before anything posts. Data captured once reaches every system in the process flow.

Nextworld President and COO Konrad Rogers said the design ensures a person stays in control of every decision and "the ERP stays the system of record." The company says it built the products with upstream and midstream customers and labels the spreadsheets and workarounds around ERPs "Shadow ERP."
