Niural AI Launches Expert Verifier Role for AI Model Evaluation

New York – October 27, 2026 -- Niural AI has launched what it calls the first dedicated infrastructure for Expert Verifiers, the credentialed domain experts who contribute to AI model training, post-training and evaluation. The capabilities are available immediately to all of the company's enterprise clients worldwide.

Niural AI says AI developers increasingly rely on doctors, lawyers, scientists and other specialists to assess complex model reasoning. According to the company, many AI firms still manage these professionals through systems built for crowdsourcing and gig work. That creates worker classification, tax, intellectual property and operational risks.

Expert Verifier becomes a standalone role beside employees and contractors

Niural AI has added Expert Verifier as an operational role on its global workforce platform. It sits alongside W-2 employees, international hires and traditional contractors.

Four capabilities target task-based AI evaluation work
  • Onboarding and IP governance: international worker verification, strict non-disclosure agreements and IP assignment to protect proprietary training data.
  • Payment and settlement: hourly, task-based and pay-on-demand options across supported markets, with payment immediately on task verification.
  • Tax and compliance: W-8/W-9 tax collection and localized payout rails, intended to remove misclassification risk for short-term engagements.
  • Enterprise governance: one dashboard showing legal, finance and AI engineering leads their active verifier contracts, total evaluation spend and global compliance status.
CEO Nami Baral says generic contractor workflows cannot support expert AI labor

Founder and CEO Nami Baral said the work needed to improve AI models is shifting from annotation toward expert reasoning, verification and complex post-training environments. "You cannot build a global market for high-value human intelligence on payment links and generic contractor workflows," she said. She added that these engagements raise distinct questions on classification, credentials, IP, taxation and compensation.

The launch follows research from Niural AI Labs. The platform is building a governance layer that extends beyond employees and contractors to human experts in AI post-training and to autonomous AI agents.
