Notta Opens U.S. Preorders for $189 Memo Pro AI Recorder

SAN FRANCISCO – November 06, 2026 -- Notta, an AI notetaker and transcription platform, opened U.S. preorders for its Memo Pro portable AI voice recorder at $189, doubling onboard storage to 64 GB and the bundled monthly transcription allowance from 300 to 600 minutes.

The device ships in Space Black and Silver Gray, with deliveries expected to begin in early December 2026.

Memo Pro adds a color display and built-in USB-C to the original design

The new model carries a 0.95-inch color display showing recording status, duration and battery level. A short button press marks key moments, such as a client confirming a budget, for later review in the transcript. A built-in USB-C port replaces the dedicated charging connection and also connects to a computer to transfer recordings through Notta Web.

Notta said the changes came from feedback on the first Memo. Users praised portability and quick start-up but asked for clearer recording status, an alternative to a dedicated charging cable and less phone handling after meetings.

Automatic Wi-Fi uploads cut the phone out of the transfer step

With the original Memo, users had to open the Notta app to move recordings over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Memo Pro uploads recordings in the background over Wi-Fi networks users have configured in advance, without reconnecting to a phone or opening the app. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Fast Transfer and USB remain available for manual transfers.

After recording starts, the device detects whether it is capturing a phone call or an in-person conversation and selects the matching mode.

Memo Pro records up to 50 hours per charge and picks up audio at 26 feet

Storage rises from 32 GB to 64 GB. Notta states a maximum pickup range of 26 feet (8 meters) in a quiet meeting room. The device weighs about 1.06 ounces (30 grams) and attaches to the back of a phone in a magnetic protective case.

"We want people to press record and give their attention to the person in front of them," said Ryan Zhang, CEO of Notta.

Notta ties hardware to its bot, desktop app and Brain AI agent

Memo Pro covers phone calls and in-person discussions. For online meetings, Notta Bot can join sessions users cannot attend or preserve video, and Notta Desktop records directly from a computer without a bot joining the call. All records can sit in one Notta account for search, review and sharing.

Notta Brain, the company's built-in AI agent, can combine meeting records and reference materials to draft client proposals, presentations, visual project briefs and follow-up emails.

Eligible accounts can activate the included Hardware Plan at no additional plan fee after purchase and device linking. The 600-minute allowance covers ten one-hour meetings per month.
