SINGAPORE – October 29, 2026 -- OneQode has signed an agreement with AdaniConneX for 14 MW of data center capacity in Siruseri Sipcot, Chennai, with talks continuing on an expansion of up to 114 MW that the company says could generate more than US$6 billion in GPU-as-a-service total contract value.
The deal is OneQode's first major AI infrastructure deployment in India. The Chennai site will host large-scale AI training and inference, enterprise AI and sovereign AI workloads, and forms part of OneQode's Asia-Pacific buildout alongside its deployment in Thailand.
OneQode and AdaniConneX are negotiating up to 114 MW of additional Indian capacity
The initial 14 MW is secured, while the larger 114 MW figure remains under discussion and is not contracted. Johnny Blackfield, Chief Growth Officer and President, EMEA & India at OneQode, said the combination of infrastructure, competitive operating costs and room to scale makes India a compelling market.
India's location between EMEA and Asia-Pacific targets latency-sensitive inference
OneQode plans to serve workloads across both regions from Chennai as inference becomes more latency-sensitive. The site will connect into the company's own global carrier network and its footprint of more than 30 data centers on five continents.
AMD Instinct GPU collaboration from May 2026 anchors the hardware roadmap
The Chennai deployment builds on OneQode's collaboration with AMD, announced in May 2026, to deploy AMD Instinct GPUs. OneQode also plans to include the AMD Helios rack-scale solution in its wider AI infrastructure rollout.
