PALM BEACH GARDENS – October 29, 2026 -- Palmdale Propane, a subsidiary of Florida fuel distributor Palmdale Oil, has acquired Affordable Gas, a locally owned propane provider based in Belle Glade, Florida. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Affordable Gas delivers propane, supplies cylinder exchange and offers related services to residential, commercial and agricultural customers in Belle Glade and the surrounding Glades area.
Palmdale extends its commercial and residential propane footprint in South Florida
Palmdale CEO Lachlan Cheatham called the deal "a natural next step" that expands the company's commercial and residential propane presence in South Florida. He said Affordable Gas President Rolando Calvo and his team built the business on dependable service and close customer relationships across the Glades.
Palmdale is family-owned, has operated for more than 40 years and serves customers in more than 50 Florida counties. It provides fuels, propane, lubricants and chemicals. Palmdale Propane, a wholly owned subsidiary, manages the group's propane delivery and services.
Affordable Gas gains operational support under Palmdale ownership
Calvo said joining Palmdale gives Affordable Gas additional resources and operational expertise to meet customers' propane needs in the region. Palmdale will support the business as it continues to serve its existing residential, commercial and agricultural accounts.
