Perceptive Discovery Becomes First US Provider of At-211 Studies

Boston – October 16, 2026 -- Perceptive Discovery has become the first US provider able to run astatine-211 (At-211) radiopharmaceutical development studies, now available at its US and UK sites through a collaboration with Atley Solutions.

First Atley C100 module purifies At-211 at QMUL laboratory in London

At Perceptive Discovery's laboratory at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), the first Atley C100 module in the collaboration is installed. It has been used to purify At-211 from an irradiated bismuth-209 target.

A second Atley C100 module is expected at the company's Needham, Massachusetts facility later this month. The Atley C100 is an automated manufacturing platform built specifically for At-211 radiopharmaceuticals.

Multiple US suppliers let Perceptive start At-211 studies immediately

In the US, At-211 delivered in solution is available from multiple sources. Perceptive Discovery can therefore begin supporting US studies immediately, with confidence around isotope supply.

At-211 is an emerging alpha-emitting radionuclide with significant potential for targeted radiopharmaceutical therapies. Limited access to specialized infrastructure and radiochemistry expertise has been a barrier to broader development.

Service package spans four precursor chemistries and radio-iTLC and HPLC analytics

Perceptive Discovery lists the following capabilities for sponsors:

  • Internal radiolabeling experience across proteins, peptides, and small molecules
  • Four precursor chemistries: boronic acid, boronic ester, tributyl tin, and trimethyl tin
  • Analytical characterization using radio-iTLC and HPLC-based methods
  • Integration with preclinical imaging, biodistribution, dosimetry, efficacy, and translational development

CEO Ben Murphy said the combination of At-211 access with the company's radiochemistry, in vivo imaging, oncology model, dosimetry and assay expertise is intended to help sponsors generate decision-ready data to advance programs toward the clinic.

Atley Solutions CEO says dedicated US and UK infrastructure widens developer access

Milton Lönnroth, CEO of Atley Solutions, said establishing dedicated At-211 infrastructure in the US and UK expands access for developers and helps build the foundation for the next generation of At-211 radiopharmaceuticals.

Perceptive Discovery is now accepting inquiries for At-211 development programs at its US and UK locations.
