Perspecta Redesigns ProviderDirectoryAI for Plans and Payers

Langhorne, Pa. – October 13, 2026 -- Perspecta has launched a redesigned version of its ProviderDirectoryAI (PDAI) solution, adding list, map and card views and client-specific member content to a search tool used by health plans, workers' compensation teams and provider organizations.

The redesign extends existing provider search capabilities and targets users on mobile, tablet and desktop. Perspecta says it built the update from client and end-user feedback.

PDAI adds three search views and distance-based sorting

Users can switch between list, map and card views. Healthcare professionals can review detailed provider information, while members can compare options and find providers close to home or work. Interactive maps and distance-based sorting show where providers are located.

Search and filters have been simplified so users can refine results without navigating long screens or losing sight of provider options. Perspecta also says search, filtering and refinement now run faster across devices. Frequently searched specialties are highlighted automatically.

Redesigned provider profiles organize ratings, affiliations and locations

Provider profiles now present locations, provider details, ratings and affiliations in a more readable format. Users can open additional information when needed.

Health plans can place member benefits inside provider search

Health plans and other organizations can show member benefits, programs and educational resources within the search experience. PDAI is designed for health plan members, case managers, claims professionals and network managers, rather than a single generic user type.

April Stiles, CEO of Perspecta, said the company reworked the product after listening to clients and users, with the aim of making provider search simple regardless of who is searching or on which device.

Redesign lays groundwork for AI-assisted conversational search

The new experience creates a foundation for future capabilities, including AI-assisted conversational search. Perspecta has not given a release timeline for that feature.
