Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- PLAN-B NET ZERO AG and river-cleanup company everwave have tied clean-energy subscriptions directly to plastic removal, letting customers convert monthly add-on payments into a fixed volume of waste extracted from rivers before it reaches the ocean.

Impact tariffs convert 1 euro into 1 kilogram of plastic removed from waterways

Under the partnership, active since 2026, customers on PLAN-B NET ZERO's impact tariffs can add between 1 and 5 euros per month. Each euro funds the removal of one kilogram of plastic waste from rivers by everwave, before it enters the sea. "That's not about sacrifice or activism, it's a system that simply works in the background and still moves something," said Bradley Mundt, founder and CEO of PLAN-B NET ZERO.

Founders describe a shared model of measurable, non-preachy impact

Mundt and everwave CEO and co-founder Clemens Feigl framed the tie-up as a convergence of two missions built on the same principle: solving a real problem with measurable results. "PLAN-B NET ZERO supports companies on their path to climate neutrality, we complement that approach with measurable water protection," Feigl said, adding that the two organizations share a focus on generating actual impact rather than strategy documents alone.

everwave builds long-term waste systems in Cambodia and Albania, backed by third-party audits

Feigl said everwave's broader strategy centers on establishing long-term waste-management systems, creating local jobs, and working with partners and authorities on training and education around sustainable waste handling. The company documents its process from collection to processing and audits its plastic credit projects against the Ocean Bound Plastic Standard. everwave currently runs active cleanup projects in Cambodia and Albania, and has collected over 2.9 million kilograms of plastic from rivers to date.

World Earth Day campaign tied social engagement to plastic removal metrics

Customer-facing visibility for the partnership has included participation in a World Earth Day campaign, where each social media like was counted as equivalent to one kilogram of removed waste, alongside regular project updates from everwave's operating regions. "We don't want to slap this on as a pure marketing label, but make it tangible through real joint projects," Mundt said.

Both founders point to scaling the model with additional partners and users

Mundt said the partnership is designed to strengthen with each additional partner and user, while Feigl said greater participation directly expands how much plastic waste can be removed and how many long-term structures can be funded, since the projects finance more than isolated cleanup actions. PLAN-B NET ZERO, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, was founded in April 2023 by Mundt and operates under its Neo Energy category, combining clean energy delivery with digital services and data-driven optimization.
