PlayVS Renews Nine State Partnerships, Expands to 25 for 2026-27

Los Angeles – September 11, 2026 -- PlayVS, North America's scholastic esports competition platform, will operate alongside 25 state and regional partners for the 2026–27 school year, marking eight years of collaboration in school-based esports.

PlayVS renews agreements with nine state athletic associations ahead of new season

The company confirmed renewed agreements with the Arkansas Activities Association, Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, Hawaii High School Athletic Association, Kentucky High School Athletic Association, Maine Principals' Association, Massachusetts School Administrators' Association, Oregon School Activities Association, South Carolina Scholastic Esports, and Virginia High School League. Several of these relationships date back to PlayVS's earliest seasons, according to the company.

NFHS Network remains foundational national partner since company launch

PlayVS has worked with the NFHS Network since its founding eight years ago. The network has helped the company establish relationships with state associations and enter new states, expanding scholastic esports access across additional school communities.

Partnerships have enabled structured competition across diverse school communities

State and regional partners have helped schools introduce structured esports competition and build recognition for the activity within their communities, PlayVS said. Charles O'Donnell, Head of Partnerships at PlayVS, said the renewals reflect "years of shared work, honest collaboration, and a sustained belief in what esports can provide for students."

PlayVS said it will focus the 2026–27 season on supporting existing partners while expanding competitive opportunities for students across its network.
