Pomdoctor Targets Predictive Healthcare With AI and Wearables

Guangzhou – October 12, 2026 -- Nasdaq-listed Pomdoctor Limited (POM) said it will integrate AI, wearable devices, remote patient monitoring (RPM) and real-world healthcare data with its existing physician resources, aiming to move care from "diagnose and treat" to "predict, alert and intervene."

Pomdoctor bets on chronic disease management as the first use case

The company said continuous monitoring and timely intervention are particularly relevant to chronic disease management. Wearables and RPM can collect health indicators outside clinical settings, while longitudinal and real-world data give a broader view of changes in an individual's health status. AI would analyze these datasets, flag potential risk signals and support earlier healthcare decisions.

Company plans a coordinated framework rather than standalone tools

Pomdoctor said it does not intend to develop these capabilities independently. Instead, it plans a coordinated healthcare management framework in which data from monitoring and healthcare interactions feeds AI-driven analysis, physician follow-up and more personalized health management.

The company said its existing healthcare infrastructure and growing technology capabilities provide the foundation for a more continuous, data-driven and proactive care model.

CEO Shi frames the strategy as moving intervention upstream

Chairman and CEO Zhenyang Shi said predictive healthcare will become an increasingly important part of future health management. He said the company aims to build the infrastructure to support the transition by combining its healthcare operations, physician resources, real-world data and technology capabilities.

No financial targets or timelines disclosed

The announcement gave no revenue figures, investment amounts, product launch dates or partnership details. The company described the strategy as forward-looking and cautioned that actual results may differ materially. It referred investors to the risk factors in its Form 20-F for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on May 14, 2026.
