DSSV, Deloitte, and DHfPG Launch 2026 Benchmarking Survey to Map Germany's Fitness Industry Amid AI and Workforce Shifts
SHERIDAN, WYOMING - March 24, 2026 - The DSSV (German Employers' Association of Fitness and Health Facilities), Deloitte, and the Deutsche Hochschule für Prävention und Gesundheitsmanagement (DHfPG) have opened the 2026 edition of their annual fitness industry benchmarking survey, known as the Eckdaten der deutschen Fitnesswirtschaft. The study, which has tracked membership numbers, revenue trends, and structural changes in the German fitness market since 1989, is now collecting data from gym and health facility operators nationwide. This year's edition covers the 2025 reporting year and extends its scope to digitalization, artificial intelligence adoption, workforce development, and the sector's expanding role in preventive health services.
