CHARLOTTE – October 29, 2026 -- Quarterra has appointed Jeb Cox, whose career spans nearly 14,000 apartment homes and more than $2.1 billion in capitalization, as Managing Director of Development, Texas.
Cox takes charge of the full development cycle across Texas
Cox will oversee new multifamily development initiatives statewide and lead a divisional team through every project phase. Those phases are land sourcing, entitlements, capitalization, design and construction execution, optimizing marketability and operability, lease-up and disposition.
Cox brings nearly 20 years of institutional multifamily experience
Cox has spent nearly 20 years leading development of institutional-quality multifamily communities. He spent more than a decade at Mill Creek Residential before joining Quarterra, and previously served at Trammell Crow Residential and Creekstone Partners.
His development and acquisition work covers nearly 14,000 apartment homes and more than $2.1 billion in capitalization across all multifamily property types.
Quarterra targets pipeline growth in Texas
Chris Cassidy, Quarterra Executive Managing Director of Development for the Eastern U.S., said the firm plans to expand and hone its market scope under Cox and is "bullish" about its pipeline opportunities. Cassidy described Cox's foundation as multifamily development and acquisitions.
Quarterra operates 12 regional offices across 20 states and focuses on developing multifamily communities in high-growth markets nationwide. Cox said the firm tailors its development model to the demands of municipalities, renters, partners and investors.
