Pensacola, Fla. – September 16, 2026 -- Lori Lee Barr, MD, FACR, FAIUM, a partner at Radiology Associates of Florida, P.A., has been named a 2026 Top Pinnacle Healthcare Professional by The Inner Circle for her work in radiology, the organization announced.
Dr. Barr holds dual board certification in pediatric and diagnostic radiology
Dr. Barr is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology, one of 24 specialty boards under the American Board of Medical Specialties. She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine at Shreveport and completed her diagnostic radiology residency and pediatric radiology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. The American College of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine have recognized her as a fellow for teaching, research, clinical care and community advocacy.
She has held leadership roles at three major children's hospital systems
Dr. Barr previously served in leadership positions at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center, Dell Children's Medical Center of Austin, and Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola/Studer Family Children's Hospital. She now practices on-site in Pensacola and remotely across Florida, working to extend pediatric imaging protocols used at major children's hospitals to community hospitals and clinics that lack access to specialized pediatric radiology resources.
She sits on Radiology Partners' national pediatric and AI advisory bodies
At Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners, Inc. practice, Dr. Barr serves as Panhandle Division Director, a Member-at-Large on the Local Practice Board of Directors, and Chair of the Patient Safety Committee. At the national level, she sits on Radiology Partners' Pediatric Advisory Board and supports the company's clinical augmented intelligence team. She also serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Radiological Society of North America Foundation, which funds diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology research.

Dr. Barr authored "5 Recommendations to Achieve Excellence in Pediatric Medical Imaging," published by Carestream and subsequently republished in Spanish and Portuguese editions internationally.
She founded a physician mentorship practice and holds a medical device patent
Beyond clinical radiology, Dr. Barr runs The Doctor's Mentor, LLC, a mentorship platform for doctors, dentists and chiropractors focused on building AI-forward practices.
