Dubai and Nouakchott – September 15, 2026 -- RAMINVEST HOLDING is moving into a targeted drilling phase at its Wompou gold project in Mauritania after assay results returned grades of up to 50.14 grams per tonne of gold. Six priority targets, labeled T-01 through T-06, have been defined for the initial test-drilling campaign.
Assay results confirm high-grade gold zones across the Wompou permit
The Wompou site spans 446 square kilometers within the Mauritanides belt and is held by the Group's Mauritanian subsidiary under exploration permit No. 2265B2. Statistical analysis found a strong correlation between arsenic and gold (R = 0.989), validating the use of arsenic as a pathfinder element to refine drill targets.
Drilling program will test mineralization continuity and scale
The upcoming campaign is designed to evaluate the continuity, geometry, grade distribution and potential size of the mineralized system. Next steps include field verification, detailed geological and geochemical work, and targeted drilling, contingent on technical and regulatory approvals, ahead of resource definition and development studies. The Group said it intends to disclose further results as the program progresses.
"The assay results, reaching 50.14 g/t gold, together with the six identified targets, give us a solid foundation to launch the drilling phase at Wompou," said Reda Rami, Chairman of RAMINVEST HOLDING.
Tabatanet project adds rare earth and niobium exposure
Through subsidiary BARAKA Mines, RAMINVEST HOLDING is also advancing the Tabatanet project, covering 496 square kilometers, targeting rare earth elements and niobium used in advanced manufacturing, high-performance materials, aerospace and electronics. Together, Wompou and Tabatanet form the Group's diversified Mauritanian platform spanning gold and strategic minerals. RAMINVEST HOLDING is preparing a phase focused on targeted drilling, resource development, strategic partnerships and project financing.
