Nashville – September 17, 2026 -- Radiation Business Solutions (RBS) will meet with prospective partner organizations at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting as part of a limited expansion phase for the Anoma Cancer Collective (ACC), a nonprofit foundation supporting community cancer care.
ACC currently backs cancer centers across five states
ACC supports community cancer programs in Alabama, Texas, Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma, and is evaluating a select number of additional markets for expansion. The organization operates as a nonprofit foundation financed through the bond market rather than through traditional acquisition capital.
Cost pressure and workforce shortages are driving cancer centers toward new ownership models
Dan Moore, CEO of Radiation Business Solutions, said cancer center leaders are confronting sustainability issues, succession planning gaps and constrained access to capital. He said the ACC model is designed to preserve local leadership and keep community cancer programs open rather than forcing an exit.
ACC positions itself as an alternative to acquisition exits
Dr. Hejal Patel, Chief Medical Officer of ACC, said participating centers were not seeking an exit strategy but a long-term solution that allows physicians to continue leading their centers and treating patients under the existing model.
RBS limits the expansion phase to a small number of organizations
Because ACC is growing in a measured way, only a limited number of cancer centers will be considered for partnership during this phase. RBS will host discussions with interested cancer center leaders at ASTRO Booth #1319, with confidential consultations also available for organizations unable to attend the conference.
