Homestead – October 14, 2026 -- The Redland Company and City Engineering Contractors (CEC) have formed a strategic partnership that combines more than 330 employees and company-owned heavy equipment to offer sitework and utility services across South Florida.
Partnership covers projects from 100-acre industrial sites to high-rise footprints
The alliance gives developers and general contractors a single source for mass earthwork and high-density urban site utilities. The firms say they can now handle projects ranging from 100-acre industrial sites to tight high-rise footprints in metropolitan centers.
Both companies keep their names, leadership teams and field staff, a structure intended to maintain continuity for existing clients.
Redland brings earthwork reach from Miami-Dade to Okeechobee County
Redland, a third-generation contractor founded in 1957, self-performs clearing, excavation and civil construction from Miami-Dade to Okeechobee County. CEC contributes a decade of experience in underground utilities, roadwork and site concrete in the dense urban markets of Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Executives target larger, more technical projects
Chad Munz, President of Redland, said the tie-up equips the firms to manage massive earthwork sites and complex urban pads. Alex Sanchez, President of CEC, said the combined team can take on larger, more technical projects that were previously beyond the scope of a single provider.
