Revizto 5.18 Adds Draft Mode, Loads Complex Models 4x Faster

Lausanne – October 13, 2026 -- Revizto's 5.18 release loads complex models four times faster than version 5.17 and adds Draft Mode, a private workspace for capturing issues and markups across 2D drawings and 3D models before they enter the project record.

Draft Mode keeps review comments private until authors publish them

Users can create issue drafts in 2D or 3D and markup drafts on drawings. They can also privately edit existing issues and their annotations before publishing changes. Drafts auto-save locally and stay private to the author until the author shares them or converts them into a tracked issue. Drafts can be exported to PDF for meetings, and the drawing, model location and project context stay linked throughout.

Revizto says points raised on site or in coordination meetings often end up on whiteboards, in PDFs and across email threads before anyone decides what needs formal action. The release targets that gap between discussion and project record.

CSV export and import lets teams update model data without touching BIM files

The new Custom Property CSV Export/Import feature lets teams export object properties, update Custom Property values in external tools and re-import the changes in bulk. Source BIM files remain unchanged.

The feature is aimed at organizations that do not create the model but still maintain their own project data on top of it. Examples include installation status, contractor details, work packages and inspection information. Updated properties can be used across Search Sets, filters and visual workflows.

Redesigned 2D navigation puts pins and markups in the same view

The 2D interface now offers grouped tools, contextual menus and direct sheet movement. On-sheet filtering keeps relevant issues in focus. Users can copy, cut and paste annotations between sheets and across projects.

Scaled sheet comparison adjusts sheet scale by percentage around a fixed anchor point, so drawings created at different scales can be aligned, overlaid and compared. Revit title-block alignment keeps sheet numbers, titles and revisions consistent with the Revit drawing. It also supports detailed identification conventions, including ISO 19650 naming practices.

Marc Schütz, Chief Product Officer at Revizto, said Draft Mode lets users think, refine and collaborate alongside drawings and models before deciding what enters the project record. Combined with faster performance and improved navigation, he said, digital review becomes "flexible, informed and built for the pace and pressure of major projects."

Revizto 5.18 is available now through Revizto Workspace as part of existing subscriptions.
