Rho Adds Credit Card and Google Pay Payments to Invoicing Platform

New York – September 09, 2026 -- Rho now lets Rho Invoicing customers accept credit card, debit card, and Google Pay payments directly on invoices, adding to existing ACH and wire options within the same banking account.

Card payments carry a 2.9% plus $0.30 processing fee paid by the invoicing business

The fee is deducted from the payment before funds deposit into the business's account, while inbound ACH and wire transfers remain free. Payers are not shown a surcharge at checkout. Card payments apply only to USD-denominated invoices and are capped at a default daily limit of $10,000 across a business's invoices, with higher limits available on request.

Stripe powers the card processing, and first payments can take up to two weeks to deposit

An invoice is marked paid once payout is initiated, but funds follow card-network settlement timelines rather than arriving instantly. A business's first card transaction faces an extended delay while Stripe completes its initial underwriting review. Access to card payment functionality requires completion of Stripe's verification process and is subject to third-party approval, which Rho states is not guaranteed.

Rho Invoicing stays free aside from card fees and syncs directly with QuickBooks Online

The platform supports up to 100 line items per invoice, per-line sales tax, recurring billing, and payment matching. Invoices use a white-labeled template carrying the business's brand and virtual account numbers that keep actual bank details private. Invoices sync into QuickBooks Online as accounts receivable through Rho's direct integration, eliminating duplicate entry for AR aging.

Card payments run through the same account businesses use for banking and bill pay

Rho customers do not need a separate merchant account or a second dashboard to accept card payments. The feature is rolling out to eligible Rho Invoicing customers.
