Aurora, Ohio – October 16, 2026 -- RoviSys Building Technologies has promoted Devin Worley, Will Hughes and Chris Smaldino to Regional Director, as the company responds to expanding demand for building automation, mission critical infrastructure and data center solutions.
The company said the appointments are meant to strengthen its regional presence and customer engagement. Two of the three have been with the company since 2013, and the third joined in 2015.
Worley built European team to more than 50 staff and opened Virginia operation
Worley joined RoviSys in 2015 as an engineer specializing in Building Management Systems and validated pharmaceutical process control systems. He relocated to Europe in 2017 to help establish the company's Nederland operation.
In Europe, he supported a large global data center client and helped expand the regional team to more than 50 local professionals. In 2022, he launched the RoviSys Building Technologies presence in Virginia. That operation widened support for existing customers across Northern Virginia and the Washington DC region.
As Regional Director, Worley will focus on growth in core markets, leadership development and strategic opportunities.
Hughes brings data center focus and Southeast experience since 2013
Hughes joined RoviSys Building Technologies in 2013 after graduating from North Carolina State University. He has supported customers across multiple locations and industry verticals, with experience in building automation and mission critical environments. The company credits him with contributing to growth throughout the Southeast.
His new remit centers on continued regional growth and service to industry-leading customers.
Smaldino to lead Midwest growth after expanding Columbus office
Smaldino also began his career with the company in 2013. He was instrumental in expanding the Columbus, Ohio office, covering team development and technical leadership.
As Regional Director, he will support the engineering organization, strengthen customer partnerships and lead growth initiatives across the Midwest.
Craig Lechene, President of RoviSys Building Technologies, said the three have each played a critical role in expanding capabilities, building teams and delivering results, and that they will lead the next phase of growth in their regions.
