SAGA Metals Completes 22,432 m Trapper Drilling, Resource Due Q4

Vancouver – – October 14, 2026 -- SAGA Metals Corp. (TSXV: SAGA) has completed an 85-hole, 22,432-metre drill program at the Trapper Zone of its Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project in Labrador, with every hole intersecting oxide mineralization. The final assays, from holes R-0088 to R-0092, give the company a complete database for the maiden resource estimate, which is due in Q4 2026.

Three Trapper North holes return intervals of 470 to 495.6 metres

Hole R-0085 returned 495.6 metres of mineralization grading 37.86% Fe2O3, 5.51% TiO2 and 0.273% V2O5. That includes 68.2 metres at 52.95% Fe2O3, 8.57% TiO2 and 0.381% V2O5. R-0075 delivered 485.4 metres and R-0072 returned 470 metres.

At Trapper South, R-0046 cut 127.9 metres at 52.94% Fe2O3, 7.35% TiO2 and 0.388% V2O5. A 54-metre section within it graded 58.33% Fe2O3, 8.78% TiO2 and 0.415% V2O5.

Many significant intervals across the campaign span 100 to 485 metres of semi-massive and rhythmic-layered oxide.

Final five holes add oxide zones of up to 324.8 metres wide

The last holes were drilled across cross-sections N08 to N11:

  • R-0089 intersected an oxide zone 324.8 metres wide (true thickness 161.9 metres) from 3.8 metres depth. It comprises 127.0 metres of semi-massive and 197.9 metres of rhythmic-layered oxide.
  • R-0088 hit 203.6 metres of oxide (true thickness 161.6 metres) at 196.8 metres depth.
  • R-0092 cut 160.6 metres of oxide (true thickness 149.3 metres), including 134.4 metres of semi-massive material.
  • R-0091 and R-0090 were shallower, with oxide widths of 62.4 and 57.4 metres respectively.

The holes were drilled between R-0008 and R-0092 across Trapper North, Transition and South. The program, the largest in the company's history, began in Q4 2025 and finished in August 2026. Michael Garagan, CGO and Director, said the final five holes showed the same consistency of titanium, vanadium and iron "from surface to depth."

GeoGlobal LLC is building the independent NI 43-101 estimate

SAGA has transferred the validated database, geological model inputs, density data and QA/QC package to GeoGlobal LLC of Riverton, Utah. Dr. Abani R. Samal, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101 and JORC, leads the estimate.

GeoGlobal's workflow covers collar, survey and assay validation, QA/QC review, and construction of geological and oxidation domains. It also covers grade interpolation for Fe2O3, TiO2 and V2O5, density assignment and classification under CIM Definition Standards. The Trapper dataset includes 13,789 samples, orientated core and structural interpretations of fold geometry and limb continuity.

Bench-scale tests recover up to 97.4% of vanadium

Bench-scale testing with Temas' proprietary RCL technology achieved recoveries of up to 90.8% titanium, 97.4% vanadium and 91.5% iron. Stage 2 optimization targets high-purity product samples and engineering data to evaluate a move to mini-pilot testing.

Trapper is the first resource target within a 29 km2 lopolith

Trapper is one of three zones, alongside Falcon and Hawkeye, in an oxide-bearing lopolith covering 29 square kilometres. The wider Radar Property holds 690 claims across 9 licenses, totalling about 24,175 hectares, 10 km south of Cartwright. Road access, the deep-water port at Cartwright, Cartwright Airport and regional hydroelectric power from Muskrat Falls and Churchill Falls support future development evaluation.
