SDK.finance Launches Standalone Real-Time General Ledger for FinTechs

Vilnius, Lithuania – September 09, 2026 -- SDK.finance has launched SDK.finance General Ledger, a standalone real-time accounting module designed for banks, electronic money institutions (EMIs), payment service providers (PSPs) and other financial businesses running complex, multi-rail products.

New module converts business events into balanced double-entry journal entries automatically

The event-driven system consumes transaction data from an existing core banking system, payment platform, digital wallet or other transaction engine and translates it into balanced double-entry journal entries using configurable accounting determinations and mapping rules. Entries are validated for debit-credit balance, posted automatically when configured, and used to update account balances and turnovers in real time.

Ledger integrates via Kafka or REST API without requiring platform replacement

SDK.finance General Ledger connects to existing financial infrastructure through Kafka or REST API, receiving business events and returning confirmations to the originating system. The integration requires no changes to existing transaction-processing logic, allowing companies to add a dedicated accounting layer while keeping their current platform intact.

Posted entries remain immutable, with corrections handled via reversing entries

Once posted, journal entries cannot be altered. Corrections are processed through reversing entries, preserving the original record and maintaining a traceable history of every adjustment. The system supports fiat currencies and digital assets with precision up to 18 decimal places, alongside role-based access control and full audit history.

CEO says module lets finance and technical teams share a single source of financial truth
