Linköping – November 04, 2026 -- Sectra (STO: SECT B) has signed a seven-year contract with Mount Sinai Health System in New York to deliver Sectra Reporting across all radiology services, covering more than 1.2 million exams per year.
Mount Sinai becomes the first US health system to adopt Sectra for radiology reporting
Sectra Reporting is the native reporting module in Sectra One Cloud, the company's enterprise imaging solution. The contract was signed in the second quarter of Sectra's 2026/2027 fiscal year. Go-live is planned for spring 2027.
Mount Sinai already uses Sectra's enterprise imaging solution for radiology, breast imaging and enterprise archive. Sectra says adding reporting to the same platform reduces vendor complexity and simplifies IT management.
Radiologists move from worklist to signed report without switching systems
With Sectra Reporting, radiologists dictate freely while the system automatically structures the report and reviews an AI-drafted impression. Built-in quality checks flag inconsistencies before sign-off. The aim is shorter report turnaround times.
Dr. David S. Mendelson, Vice Chair of Radiology Information Technology at Mount Sinai Health System, said new capabilities, including AI, reach radiologists "without yet another system to integrate."
Isaac Zaworski, President of Sectra, Inc., said Mount Sinai's decision reflects a broader shift toward unified diagnostic workflows.
Seven hospitals and more than 400 outpatient practices fall within Mount Sinai's network
Mount Sinai is one of the largest health systems in the New York metropolitan area. It operates seven hospitals, more than 400 outpatient practices and over 600 research and clinical laboratories, alongside the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Sectra will demonstrate Sectra Reporting and the unified diagnostic workflow at RSNA 2026, booth #8119.
