Held October 17 at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club, the sold-out event drew more than 500 guests and marked the nonprofit's 22nd annual gala. Founder and CEO Anthony Geisler pledged the match on behalf of the company, its franchise owners and its studios.
The match builds on a previously announced $10 million Sequel Brands pledge to Miracles for Kids. The nonprofit provides financial assistance, housing and basic necessities to families dealing with a child's life-threatening illness.
Fund-a-Need campaign brings in $2,388,000, live auction adds $539,000
The Fund-a-Need campaign raised $2,388,000, a figure that includes the donations matched by Sequel Brands. The live auction generated a further $539,000. The gala, themed The Miracle of Tomorrow, also featured a performance by GRAMMY Award-winning singer Ashanti.
Geisler framed the sponsorship as an extension of business success. "Building successful businesses means very little if you're not using that success to make a difference," he said.
Geisler's involvement with Miracles for Kids spans nearly a decade
In 2024, Geisler and his family received the organization's Miracle Maker Award for their years of generosity and leadership.
Geisler now channels that commitment through Sequel Brands, the health, fitness and wellness franchisor he founded. Its portfolio includes Pilates Addiction, BODY20, iFlex Stretch Studios, beem Light Sauna, Ultimate Longevity Center and MOVE powered by SEQUELai.
Proceeds will fund Miracles for Kids' support for families facing the financial and emotional strain of a child's critical illness.
