Lebanon, Ind. – September 15, 2026 -- SHEIN opened a new 737,000-square-foot automated fulfillment facility in Lebanon, Indiana, expanding its statewide footprint to more than 2.5 million square feet and adding hundreds of new jobs to a workforce already exceeding 1,300 Hoosiers.
New facility deploys goods-to-person automation to boost fulfillment capacity
The Lebanon site, located roughly 1.5 miles from SHEIN's existing Indiana operations, is scheduled to begin operations this month. The facility uses a goods-to-person fulfillment system designed to strengthen SHEIN's U.S. logistics network as the company scales order volumes across its online fashion and lifestyle business.
Indiana investment builds on 2022 Whitestown hub launch
SHEIN first established its major Indiana distribution presence in Whitestown in 2022, positioning Central Indiana as a key node in its U.S. fulfillment network. The Lebanon expansion marks the company's latest capital commitment in the state, adding to an operational base that supports a customer network spanning approximately 160 markets globally.
Company directs community funding to Boone County organizations
SHEIN contributed $3,000 to the Boone County Chamber of Commerce and $2,500 to the Boone County Economic Development Corporation alongside the facility opening. George Chiao, SHEIN's U.S. president, said the investment reflects the company's aim to build a more agile and resilient fulfillment network while creating economic opportunities in host communities.
Sean Reaves, Executive Director of the Boone County Chamber, said the contribution and facility will create career opportunities for the growing county. Andrea Kern, CEO of the Boone County Economic Development Corporation, said the funding supports advocacy and strategic connections for local economic development.
Prior donations included flood relief and workforce development funding
Last month, SHEIN donated thousands of essential items for Central Indiana flood relief efforts, and the SHEIN Foundation contributed $25,000 to Heart of Indiana United Way for recovery support. The SHEIN Foundation has also provided $150,000 in annual contributions since 2024 to Dress for Success Indianapolis' Career & Confidence program, and SHEIN served as presenting sponsor of the Indiana Women's Collaborative last month.
