Shoot 360 Opens Manila Site, Targets 200 Asian Locations by 2030

Vancouver, Wash. – October 13, 2026 -- Shoot 360 has set a goal of 200 locations open or in development across Asia by 2030, after opening its eighth international site in Quezon City, Manila, on September 17, 2026.

The Manila debut brings the technology-powered basketball training franchise to eight international locations across five countries: Canada, the Republic of Georgia, Japan, the Philippines and Taiwan.

Japan and the Philippines each expected to add at least two locations within a year

Shoot 360's Asia master franchisee is leading the regional expansion. Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand are among the markets targeted for future development.

Asia CEO Sean Cheng said development opportunities are now progressing in China, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand. He described the model as a basketball community built around technology and coaching, serving young players, returning adults and families.

Taipei location reaches nearly 1,350 members, with adults at about 40%

The Taipei site is the clearest membership data point the company has disclosed for the region. Adults account for about 40% of its roughly 1,350 members. The company also reports that adult memberships are growing across its U.S. locations.

Shoot 360 Asia is based in Taipei. Cheng founded and operated a basketball academy before opening the Taipei location. Chairman Richard Chang, the first Asian American to receive an NCAA Division I basketball scholarship, brings more than 30 years of experience helping Costco Wholesale establish and grow its presence across Asia.

Canada operates four locations, with Markham, Ontario in the pipeline

Prospective franchise partners in Australia, New Zealand, Western Europe and the Middle East are also showing significant interest, according to the company.
