This innovative base is ideal for a wide range of beverages, including liquid dairy products, flavored water, juices, nectars, soft drinks, isotonics, and teas.

StarLITE®-R Premium combines a sleek, streamlined aesthetic with hidden high-performance technical features. The flat-looking bottle bottom creates a striking shelf presence, while the patented vault technology ensures optimal geometry and material distribution. The base is compatible with various bottle shapes, sizes, and materials, offering exceptional versatility for premium brands.

High-Speed Production, Reduced Environmental Impact
StarLITE®-R Premium enables the high-speed production of 100% rPET bottles while maintaining top bottle quality and a visually appealing look. The enhanced cooling circuit in the mold base ensures efficient bottle base chilling, particularly for rPET, which is processed at higher temperatures than virgin PET.
"Premium bottles are typically seen as less sustainable than standard versions, as they use more PET material, for increased wall thickness, and they require higher blowing pressure," says Protais. "However, with global packaging regulations increasingly focused on environmental impact, manufacturers are now seeking exclusive product alternatives that provide carbon savings. The new bottle base is designed to accommodate bottle formats from 0.25L to 2L and can be produced on various Sidel platforms, including EvoBLOW, Universal, and Series 2. It is suitable for both regular and aseptic filling lines and can be easily retrofitted into existing production lines.

StarLITE®-R Premium joins Sidel's signature StarLITE®-R range, which includes innovative designs like StarLITE®-R Nitro for still nitrogen-dosed products and the original StarLITE®-R for carbonated soft drinks.
