Birmingham, Ala. – September 15, 2026 -- SJE Inc. has appointed Andrew Baines as Senior Vice President of Sales & Commercial Operations for its Engineered Control Solutions (ECS) Division, tasking him with accelerating growth across water and wastewater, OEM, and industrial markets.
Baines takes charge of a multichannel commercial organization spanning direct sales, manufacturers' representatives, and channel partners
He will work with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to strengthen pipeline management and forecasting, advance strategic pricing and quoting practices, and improve quote-to-order velocity.

Baines brings more than three decades of global sales leadership, including nine years running a 200-person Flowserve unit
Most recently SJE's Asia Pacific Sales Leader, Baines previously spent over 30 years at Flowserve, including nine years as Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific, where he oversaw an approximately 200-person organization covering India, China, Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. He also held roles as Flowserve's Director of Demand for its Industrial group in Dallas and Director of Commercial Operations for Asia Pacific, with assignments in Singapore and Australia.
Baines holds an engineering degree and Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and will relocate to Alabama
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering with honors in Integrated Engineering from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom. Baines will relocate to Birmingham, Alabama, and be based at the ECS Revere facility, where he plans to meet with ECS teams and key customers in the coming months to align commercial priorities for the remainder of 2026 and beyond.
