SHENZHEN – October 31, 2026 -- SKYWORTH Solar has launched Solavita, a global brand that consolidates its smart microgrid portfolio into four product lines covering residential, commercial, utility and portable applications.
Solavita targets grid flexibility demand across home, business and utility segments
The company cites the International Energy Agency's 2026 mid-year electricity update, which stresses flexible resources and more efficient use of infrastructure as renewable generation expands. Customer priorities differ by market: controlling electricity costs, using more local solar power, or keeping essential loads running where grid supply is unreliable.
Chairman Fan Ruiwu said the company's focus is on the value the systems provide "throughout their life," and that SKYWORTH will work with local partners to adapt delivery to each market.
Four product lines span rooftop systems to containerized utility storage
SolaHome uses a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) to coordinate rooftop solar, battery storage, and flexible loads such as heat pumps and EV chargers. SolaBiz combines distributed solar, commercial storage and smart dispatch to help factories and retail sites manage peak-demand costs and guard against grid disruptions.
SolaMatrix supplies containerized storage and microgrid management for utility and off-grid use, aimed at stabilizing renewable integration in weak-grid environments. SolaGo covers plug-and-play balcony solar and portable power for outdoor use and emergency backup.
German installation reports nearly €50 in first-month arbitrage gains
In markets with dynamic tariffs, such as Germany, HEMS automates energy dispatch to take advantage of low-price periods. A residential installation in Jesteburg, Germany, pairs 18.9 kW of rooftop solar with 20.48 kWh of battery storage. Solavita reports nearly €50 in electricity-price arbitrage benefits during its first month of dynamic-tariff operation.
Haikou test platform is due for commissioning by end-2026
The Smart Microgrid Technology Centre links research with product engineering and works with Tianjin University and Hainan University. The Haikou platform will validate grid-connected, islanded and grid-forming systems.
The InfraCosmos Digital Platform handles lifecycle data management, operational monitoring and fault identification, and connects system data with service and maintenance.
For large-scale, asset-light projects, Solavita uses an F+D+EPC+O framework covering financing, development, engineering, procurement, construction and operations. A localized PD2C cooperation model is already deployed in Germany and Italy.
