September 03, 2026 – GUANGZHOU -- Guangzhou Shangpin Packaging Products Co., Ltd. (Sprintpackage) has increased its annual production output by two to three times after relocating to a new 20,000-square-meter automated facility in the No. 1 Hard Technology Industrial Park, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, completed in June 2026.
Six automated lines push daily output to 300,000 units
The paper tube manufacturer installed six fully automated production lines covering tube winding, slitting, paper mounting, curling, and final assembly. Factory engineers added a new fleet of automatic tube winding machines, paper mounting equipment, rotary curling units, and high-speed assembly systems ahead of the plant opening. With automation exceeding 80%, the facility now produces between 200,000 and 300,000 paper tube units daily, supplying wholesale buyers across Europe and the Middle East.
Sprintpackage built a 10,000-client base since 2014
The company has maintained active relationships with more than 10,000 clients since its founding in 2014, supplying items including heavy-duty cardboard cylinder tubes and cosmetic paper lip balm tubes. Jack Wu, Founder and General Manager, said the company targets mid-to-high-end quality at mid-to-low prices to sustain long-term client partnerships.
Sprintpackage pioneers sushi tube molds, targets 500 chains
In late 2025, Sprintpackage became one of the first manufacturers worldwide to independently develop molds for dedicated sushi paper tubes, moving ahead of a spike in global demand for specialized sushi packaging. The company now supplies these custom tubes directly to more than 500 international sushi chains and projects annual shipment volume of 10 to 15 million sushi tubes from the new plant. The sushi tube line holds EU EC1935/2004 food contact certification and GFSI-recognized BRC Global Standard for Packaging certification.
Facility runs BRC-certified dust-free production under ISO9001
All food-grade paper tube production takes place inside a dedicated dust-free workshop under a BRC-certified environment and ISO9001 quality management system. The plant holds additional certifications and audits including FSC, BSCI, SGS, and FDA, and complies with European PPWR requirements on packaging waste.
