TORONTO – October 27, 2026 -- Synteq has opened its first Canadian location in Toronto, its sixth site overall, through a partnership with Telehouse Canada. The GPU cloud provider cited growing customer demand for Northeast and Canadian capacity.
Toronto joins five existing Synteq sites in the US and Bulgaria
The new location follows Spokane, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Valley Forge and Sofia, Bulgaria. CEO Eric Yingling said the move was driven by "organic demand from our client base." He added that Toronto offers the power density current GPUs need, plus connectivity suited to Northeast US and Canada-focused workloads.
Telehouse Canada supplies three downtown data centres and 200+ network partners
Telehouse Canada, a subsidiary of KDDI Corporation, operates three interconnected, carrier-neutral data centres in downtown Toronto. They give Synteq direct access to TorIX, CANIX and an ecosystem of more than 200 carriers, ISPs and cloud on-ramps.
Synteq-owned GPU servers, virtual machines and block storage go live in Toronto
Synteq owns and operates its hardware and network and sells compute directly to developers and operators. The Toronto site offers dedicated GPU servers, virtual machines and block storage on Synteq-owned equipment. Customers can provision them by API, CLI or console through Synteq Cloud, the company's single control plane for provisioning, management and billing.
Clients can request that data and workloads provisioned in Toronto remain in Canada.
Atsushi Kubo, President and CEO of Telehouse Canada, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to the infrastructure Canadian enterprises need to deploy AI and compute workloads.
