SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Dec. 24, 2024 – Teleste North America is experiencing a significant increase in orders for its ICON 1.8 GHz intelligent amplifiers, designed to meet the DOCSIS 4.0 specification. This surge follows the company's March 2024 announcement that its amplifiers had been approved by a lead customer and commercial deliveries had commenced in North America.

Cable Operators Embrace 1.8 GHz Technology

Throughout 2024, numerous cable broadband operators have recognized the advantages of 1.8 GHz intelligent technologies and begun transitioning their investments to these next-generation products. This shift has resulted in a substantial increase in orders for Teleste, with cumulative order intake exceeding 20 million Euros in 2024.

"During 2024, several cable broadband operators have evidenced the benefits of 1.8 GHz intelligent technologies and started transitioning their investments to next-generation products. Teleste has received additional orders from its North American customers during Q4 2024, resulting in over 20 million Euros cumulative order intake in 2024."

While some orders were fulfilled in 2024, the majority are scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2025. Teleste has proactively scaled its production capacity to meet this growing demand and is continuously improving its logistics and manufacturing processes to support future needs.

Benefits of DOCSIS 4.0 and Teleste Intelligent Networks

DOCSIS 4.0 1.8 GHz technology is a game-changer for cable broadband, enabling speeds of up to 10 Gbps for residential customers. Teleste's Intelligent Networks concept facilitates cost-effective and rapid upgrades of cable broadband networks, resulting in a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) for network infrastructure.

Furthermore, Teleste's intelligent amplifiers offer remote monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities, including the automation of network maintenance processes. This not only enhances service reliability but also contributes to further operational cost savings.

Increased Transparency in Financial Reporting

Starting in the 2025 fiscal year, Teleste will provide more detailed geographical distribution of its revenue for both of its business units, increasing transparency for investors and stakeholders.
