Northbrook, Ill. – September 11, 2026 -- Teletrac Navman has appointed Ricardo Buranello, its current Chief Financial and Operating Officer, as Chief Executive Officer effective October 1, 2026, succeeding Alain Samaha.
Buranello takes the helm after serving as CFOO since joining the fleet management provider
Buranello brings more than two decades of international experience across telematics, IoT and high-growth technology businesses. He previously held leadership roles at Telit Cinterion, Siemens and Totvs before joining Teletrac Navman as Chief Financial and Operating Officer.
Samaha stays through September 30 and remains on the Board of Directors
Alain Samaha will lead Teletrac Navman through September 30, 2026, to ensure a seamless transition before Buranello formally takes over. Samaha will continue as a Board member, supporting the company's long-term vision and strategic planning.
Jonathan Olefson, Chairman of the Board, said Buranello is a "proven, mission-oriented leader who understands our business from the inside out." Olefson credited Samaha with transforming Teletrac Navman into a global leader in telematics and fleet management solutions.

Under Buranello, Teletrac Navman will continue developing its cloud-based, AI-powered connected mobility platform, which serves industries managing vehicle and equipment assets. The company is headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, and operates globally with offices worldwide.
